Celebrate LGBT culture with Sunderlands first ever LGBT pride event!

	23rd September 2012! After the success of Sunderland's first ever LGBT pride event, plans are already underway for next years celebrations and a date has now been confirmed! 2012's headline act has not been confirmed at present, however more information will be added to the NEGayScene website once it has been finalised and released.

It's expected that 2012's pride celebrations will top 2011's pride event, and to celebrate Sunderlands diverse LGBT community there will also be a much anticipated pride parade starting from the civic centre!

Following on from the pride march/parade the party really kicks off with the carnival celebrations, this will start from 1pm in Park Lane Village where the main entertainment stage is located and this years headline acts.

We hope to see people from all over the North East join in this years pride celebrations, so if you havent already join Sunderland Prides facebook page, let your friends know about the pride event and book it in your diary as its bound to be another great day out celebrating LGBT culture in Sunderland.
