Sunderland may not have its only gay scene as such, or boast a huge selection of gay bars and nightclubs like its nearest neighbour Newcastle - however the city does cater for the LGBT community by offering a decent selection of Gay Friendly venues and holds its very own Gay Nights on a Tuesday and Thursday.
